Oslo, Norway

First off, I apologize for  not posting in so long. I've been in Norway for about a week or so and have loved it so far. I haven't done much "site seeing" but have enjoyed a few common place things here in Norway. I'm staying with a friend that I graduated who is half Norwegian so she going to school here. The most amazing thing I have seen so far was on the way in up in the plane. You could see the  never ending Fjords (finger like pieces of land that jut out into the ocean) but these went on for ever. The land was like a bumpy road after a hard rain; all the pot holes filled with water, and the dips of the land. Countless pools of water and green land. The sun was also setting so the glare of the clouds and sun against the pools creating the most amazing site.
Unfortunately to see the Fjords and the mountains it would take more planning. So I will have to come back some day to experience that. Here are the few pictures I have taken.
You can't see it, but there is like a pond or small lake (really cold) People come here to sun bathe and swim. Lots of "beaches" like this in Norway. This one was only 15min walk from my friends apartments. It was lovely, after a month of rain in July.
We ate a little lunch at these tables. Very pleasant with the babble of the water behind us.
Part of the apartments, or student apartments that my friend and her boyfriend live in. her school is just on the other side of the road so very good for her during the school year.
Got to watch a few young kid soccer games. My friends boyfriend's niece had soccer tournaments all week and weekend.
